What will we learn together?

  • What is the special meaning of this stage in life? Where is my link within the chain of generations?
  • Mothers of a Nation & Contemporary Jewish women of influence – what can we learn from them?
  • Public speaking: how to write a Bat Mitzvah speech? How to interview relatives for a meaningful Bat Mitzvah video?
  • We will watch video clips together, analyzing them and learning from them, discussing the challenges of growing up today.

Sivan Rahav-Meir is an Israeli journalist and media personality, who served as the Mizrachi World Movement's shlicha to North America. She is married to Yedidya Meir, and has five children. Sivan broadcasts on radio and television, and writes for newspapers.
Her shiurim on the weekly portion are popular in Israel and abroad. Sivan was named by Globes magazine as Israel's favorite media woman, and by the Jerusalem Post as one of the world's 50 most influential Jews.


Girls around Bat Mitzvah age (11-13) from all sectors

All 4 sessions are delivered online by Sivan Rahav Meir, interactively, with the girls’ participation.

Approx 1hr, at the end of which assignments will be given out, to complete during the course of the week.

Registration starts now. Those who sign up will receive a detailed program within a few days. All sessions are on Sundays at 4pm.

– Four zoom sessions with Sivan, filled with content, creativity, thought and activity.

– Assignments will be given throughout the workshop (i.e. to write, to interview grandparents, to film, to research) and by the end of the workshop you’ll have a video to show your family & friends!
